The final requirements were published on September 9.

Every profile shares three constants: Windows 10 or 11 64-bit, 16GB of system memory and 120GB of SSD storage.

Everything else scales dramatically.

Raster performance scales mostly through the GPU

Minimum is 1080p30 Low on a GTX 1070, RX 5600 XT or Arc A580 with 6GB of VRAM.

Recommended moves to 1440p60 Medium using an RTX 3060 Ti, RX 6700 XT or Arc B580 with 8GB.

The Enthusiast profile targets 4K60 High with an RTX 3080 or RX 6800 XT and 10GB.

All three targets assume upscaling: Quality, Balanced and Performance respectively.

CPU requirements flatten surprisingly early. Both upper raster profiles list the same Core i7-10700 or Ryzen 7 3700X.

Ray tracing creates a much steeper GPU curve

The first RT tier targets only 1080p30 on Low ray tracing using an RTX 2060 Super, RX 6600 or Arc A580.

For 1440p60 with Medium RT, Remedy jumps to an RTX 4070 Ti or Radeon RX 9070.

VRAM rises to 10GB.

That is one of the clearest signals in the chart: enabling Remedy's RT effects changes GPU demand much more aggressively than moving through the conventional raster presets.

Path tracing consumes the flagship tier

The highest official target is 4K60 with High graphics and High path tracing.

Remedy specifies an RTX 5080 with at least 12GB of VRAM.

The profile uses DLSS Performance.

That detail matters because 2160p output no longer tells you the full rendering story. Internal resolution, reconstruction and ray-tracing workload are separate parts of the performance equation.

DLSS 4.5 and FSR 4.1 are core parts of the PC renderer

CONTROL Resonant supports NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 and AMD FSR 4.1 for upscaling and frame generation.

NVIDIA users also get DLSS Ray Reconstruction.

NVIDIA had already positioned the game as one of its 2026 path-traced showcase titles.

The PC release also includes an uncapped frame rate, HDR and ultrawide support.

SSD is mandatory across the board

Every configuration lists 120GB of SSD storage.

There is no HDD fallback.

That has become common in modern AAA development, but the capacity itself is still substantial enough to matter for installation planning.

CONTROL Resonant's larger Manhattan zones, heavier assets and much broader environmental scope all sit far beyond the footprint of the original game's predominantly enclosed spaces.

16GB of RAM still survives at the top

The more surprising constant is system memory.

Even Remedy's RTX 5080 path-tracing profile officially lists 16GB rather than 32GB.

That does not mean additional RAM is useless on a heavily multitasked PC, but it does mean Remedy is not making 32GB part of its supported high-end target.

The strongest part of Remedy's specification sheet is the context attached to every GPU.

Resolution, frame rate, graphics preset, RT level and upscaling mode are all specified.

That avoids a common problem where a publisher labels one PC “recommended” without explaining what experience the hardware is supposed to deliver.

CONTROL Resonant's chart instead exposes the actual rendering ladder.

At one end, decade-old hardware can still participate.

At the other, path-traced Manhattan is expensive enough to occupy an RTX 5080.
