WARDOGS was designed around the idea that a few thousand regular players could sustain it. Its beta produced more than 200,000 simultaneous users instead. As Early Access begins, the interesting PC story is not simply whether the shooter runs well on a graphics card. It is whether every system around the game can absorb an audience its developer never expected this early.

Modern multiplayer games are often declared dead the moment a Steam graph points downward. BULKHEAD is trying to disarm that conversation before WARDOGS even launches: it says the game was planned around a sustainable population of a few thousand concurrent players, not hundreds of thousands.
