Dune: Awakening: Unreal Engine 5 can hold Arrakis together, provided you accept upscaling
Dune: Awakening uses Software Lumen and Nanite across a huge world without suffering the worst shader-compilation problems normally associated with Unreal Engine 5. The price is significant: 60fps quickly requires capable hardware and upscaling, FSR 3.1 remains visually fragile and some traversal stutter persists. A year of patches has improved stability, but September's console release still needs to be judged separately.
