Genshin Impact in 2026 — six years of expansion, with art direction aging better than the technology
Genshin Impact remains an impressive example of a game spanning mobile, PC and consoles without losing its identity. PS5 still offers fast, smooth play, Xbox joined with cross-progression, and stylized art hides the engine's age gracefully. Technical debt is visible, however: enormous menus, client size, platform feature disparities and the retirement of the PS4 version.
