Forza Horizon 6: 4K 60fps on Series X, PC ray tracing and an engine that refuses to age
Playground Games evolves its engine in layers rather than through revolution: remarkably stable 60fps console performance, improved draw distance, new acoustic modelling and, most importantly, RTGI and ray-traced reflections on PC. The cost is a 167GB installation and a PC version whose visual leap is considerably larger than the console upgrade.
