Eternal Return on Unity 6: cleaner, faster, still too busy when everything explodes
The August 2026 move to Unity 6 brought sharper rendering, more granular graphics settings, redesigned loading and optimizations aimed at heavy combat scenes. It is a meaningful upgrade for Eternal Return, although it cannot entirely solve the game's most unusual technical challenge: displaying enormous amounts of competitive information without turning the screen into fireworks.
